Music has been an integral part of Helene's life. She mastered the piano as early as age 7 and even formed her own band at age 9. Helene graced the stage with her engaging and moving performances honing her skills with her band playing school auditoriums, special events, talent shows and eventually accompanying school choirs. As a teen, Helene began working with older musicians as keyboardist performing challenging progressive and classic rock in night clubs. In addition to her keyboard prowess, she quickly was recognized as a very strong vocalist and moved into the lead vocalist spot for many bands and used her natural harmony abilities on back up vocals for several tribute bands. Along with keys and background vocals for Kick It Out, Helene also performs solo in the tri-state area and along the East Coast. In recent years, she successfully graduated from Penn State University and added Music Therapy to her list of abilities and works by day with dementia patients in a senior behavioral health unit. She has been active and involved in studio sessions as both a keyboardist and vocalist also writing and recording her own original music including children’s songs. Helene has been nominated for a Josie Music Award for keys/piano for several years.
Scott started playing the drums in the mid-seventies at a young age. By the time he was eighteen, he was playing regularly in the tri-state area rock scene. He's been the solid foundation to both original and cover bands over the past thirty years and is currently making original music in a progressive, funk-rock band. Now also rocking in Kick It Out A Tribute To Heart. "Scott brings a solid back beat with a deep pocket, and fantastical fills along with an electrifying performance. " Scott was the winner of a coveted indie Josie Music Award in 2024 for Musician of the Year - Drums.
Chris is one of the founding members of Kick It Out and an accomplished well respected musician performing in various bands, duos, trios in the tri-state area since the late 1970's. He studied music at Temple University and has been the owner of North Ridge Music School in Philadelphia teaching guitar and bass since 2009. He is a multi-instrumentalist and plays classical guitar and piano and nominated for a Josie Award in 2025 for Musician of the Year - Bass. Chris accompanies Sandy Hall on acoustic guitar performing her originals and is the bass player on the Full Circle 2024 album.
A self proclaimed "80's Rocker", Billy is a founding member of Kick It Out and has had a very successful career as a lead guitarist and composer for several well known original rock bands in the tri-state area. Billy is a seasoned guitarist performing, writing, and recording music for many years. He's an incredibly passionate musician and performer with a natural intuitive ability to bring a song alive with his melodic and blistering guitar leads. In addition to Kick It Out, Billy writes and performs with several original bands in the area and is featured lead guitarist on Sandy Hall's Full Circle album. He was nominated for an indie Josie Music award for several years as Musician of the Year - Guitar.
Susan is a founding member of Kick It Out and a tremendously talented, accomplished, and prolific multi-instrumentalist and performer. She has a long and impressive resume with extensive experience performing in many musical arenas locally and internationally. She is proficient in guitar, violin, mandolin and piano, has recorded many albums and has been nominated for Musician of the Year at the Josie Awards for Guitar and multi-instrumentalist. Unbelievably, all this talent also happens to be coupled with an extraordinary beauty and mesmerizing stage presence. Susan also teaches music to the next generation of young musicians and performs solo and with multiple bands/projects.
Sandy is a founding member of Kick It Out, an award winning vocalist, singer-songwriter, recording artist on Warner Brothers DEKO Entertainment and Grammy voting member with two full length albums available on all streaming platforms. In 2021, she won an indie music Josie Award for Artist of the Year Rock and has been nominated yearly since. In 2025 she won a World Entertainment award for her song The River Calls Me Home and a World Songwriting Award for Love Still Remains. She is a vocalist of extraordinary natural abilities and range with an intuitive sense of melody and pitch. Her soulful tone coupled with her powerful "big" voice is often compared to iconic female rockers, like Ann Wilson, Pat Benatar, Melissa Etheridge. Sandy has rattled the rafters of area hot spots for thousands of fans for years earning the respect of her peers and fans. Inevitably, she leaves crowds with a "goose bump" moment with her moving and magnetic performances.
